Oh, I quite like that idea, running with two skills that add additional targets/offence to your squad. Might have to try it, see if I can set up multiple profiles to accommodate different play styles... need to chose a profile with better tech construct bonuses if I'm going to try the Remnant VI and turret.
I've upgraded both incinerate and throw to the point that they both send out two bolts at once, and given the fact that they are actually enemy-seeking (unlike a lot of the other powers), I can typically hang back and just lob powers across the battlefield.
I've found myself a nice weight combination of assault rifle/shotgun/SMG/grenade launcher that has no power cooldown penalty... but occasionally I think I need to work out how to include a sniper rifle into that mix to give me better long-range capabilities.
I've cleared most of Eos, Havarl and Voeld now, but still have a lot of work to do on Kadara and haven't even visited Elaaden yet. Most fun that I've had so far was probably driving the Nomad on that shattered planet with low gravity.
Not sure that I'm quite enamored of the story and squad as much as previous Mass Effect games (hello, ME:2), but it is slowly growing on me. Beginning to feel like there is a sense of "urgency" and importance as I learn some more about the kett, and progress side missions like the memory fragments and trying to find the arks.
