I would hazard a guess and say that someone like Foxtel isn’t happy. Netflix is loved with vpn as it allows more content, but the problem is that said content is bound to the country (ie USA) by contract/law. It’s also the same issue with music. Some content is available, other content is restricted by location.
I just don’t get why it can’t be sold worldwide to companies and those companies gain income through buyers. But then Foxtel would have something to complain about because they don’t like the Netflix business model (and no one likes Foxtel’s!).
Then again I could just be mumbling and not knowing anything and spouting crap.
