I enjoyed it, even the downer ending still had hope in it, which tied in nicely with the title of IV.
CGI Tarkin was awful, I hated looking at him and wondered why they bothered. CGI Leia was ok, but she didn't do much to break the movie. She was completely unrequired though, they could have easily just shot from behind her and used her voice and it'd be done.
The Mon Calamari (Calimari?) ship was nice and shiny, way too shiny for it to go into IV, but still, that was a great ship.
The ram manoeuvre during the battle at Scarif was really great space battle tactics and worked really well.
The not romantic relationship, but moving to friendship and respect between Jyn and Cassian was a nice touch because there was no need (or time) for that relationship to be romantic.
The blind asian monk/mystic is a tired stereotype, but the relationship between him and Baze was lovely, and I imagine it's being shipped everywhere you can find flash fiction.
I loved the use of location in the movie, though there is the usual fail that a planet is all of one kind of environment. Jedha (Jeddah?) could not all be a desert with no water sources, as it appeared from space. It's very much a No Man's Sky idea of planets, and the storyboard artists and directors should be smacked upside the head for making such a fundamental error.
