Watch Dogs 2. Trying to get it finished as quickly as I can so other games I can start on/buy upcoming.
I got to a point where I started to wane from the idea of the game and it felt like a hassle to do things. That changed about halfway through (for me personally, probably not the game), where things are stepping up a bit. Some missions are really short and fun, some are a bit drawn out. I've developed a bit of a boring routine for some games in lettings the cops and gangs do all the shooting for me so my missions take longer, but that's because I'm also a scaredy cat who doesn't want to get into the action!
The story and writing is fine, though the amount of swearing is just getting beyond a joke. I can handle swearing, fine, but when nearly every second word is an expletive, it just gets tiring. I take this position with stand-up comedy (and this is one reason why I am not a huge fan of stand-up comedians), where swearing just gets way over the top. An occasional expletive can really add to the impact/joke, but being careful about how and when is important. It kind of reminds me of GTA: SA and after a while, I just got tired of it all.
Marcus is better than Aiden as a protagonist and the team is getting better to work with. I finally understand more about the aim and what they are doing. Some of the shit they do - like dealing with the FBI, is pretty full on, but makes sense to what is happening.
There are some really pretty moments in the game, looking at San Fran from high up over a sunrise/sunset, or even at night with the bright lights. Even the water looks nice and refreshing too. I spoke about cars last time, and yeah still not clean and crisp, so it means you have to manage it better. It's a shame though as it's a slight improvement over WD1, but not much.
The gadgets are pretty good too with the RC copter and the wheel thing. Really adds to the fun of the game and I use the copter a lot to scope out environments and get a good gauge on access points, people etc.
