With Borderlands 2 finished, with a side trek of some of the Assault on Dragon Keep thing with the always amusing Tiny Tina, we decided to move back to Diablo 3, this time on the PS4, not the 360. Decided that the upgraded console deserved upgraded games. I'm playing a Crusader and my wife a Wizard. Both enjoying the game, though we both also try to change the camera around, but we end up rolling! Used to other games.
One thing I noticed about D3, is the character screen. We've been used to split screen Borderlands and split screen menus, that D3 menus seem archaic. While it's not a huge issue, just having to wait for someone to do something and vice versa, slows down the game. Of course it does allow us to get up and get a drink, snack or have a toilet break.
I died once in the game, due to recklessness, just thinking I could take on 20 mobs, including an elite and minions. Didn't pay attention to my health and suffered. At least the co-op respawn helped, but doesn't seem that difficult. I can't remember our last run-through, but I think we probably managed okay, may have died a few times later on in the game. I felt D2 was much more difficult to manage (particularly the loot!) but I guess playing solo means you rely on yourself and no one else.
Slowly plugging away through Horizon Zero Dawn, but getting less time to play.
